Here's how it works:

1. Young Adult Prospects are carefully selected, evaluated and tested to ensure soundness and strong nerves for suitability in Advanced Obedience and Protection.
2. After selection, your Executive Protection K9 will be extensively trained by KWD certified staff over a predetermined period covering advanced obedience & personal protection to an operational and tactical level to fit your needs.
3. After training is completed your Executive Protection K9 will be delivered to your home or office by one of our trainers / handlers, at which time we will give you an optional "handlers course" in the dogs new home!

We understand that it is a considerable amount of money to spend on a Dog, and that is why KWD Guarantees every Executive Protection K9 and offers complete Continuation Training Programs to keep your new K9 protector in top physical condition, both physically as well as mentally!

In addition we recommend a continuation training program which will include two days of intense hands-on, certified instructor led training to ensure the maintenance and reliability of your Executive Protection K9 companion. This course normally takes place one weekend a month.

Your new Executive Protection Dog will be trained in the following:

Full Obedience

Every Executive Protection K9 is extensively trained for verbal Control & Obedience. This is extremely necessary for any handler to have control of their dog in any situation they might find themselves in. Obedience is generally the following (KWD will teach additional custom commands upon request).

Offleash Obedience Basics:

Every Level 3, 4 & 5 Executive Protection K9 is first trained as an Operational Patrol Dog, and then undergoes all Advanced Custom Exercises and Training necessary to meet and complete the specific requirements for each individual placement. Your Level 3, 4 & 5 Executive Protection K9 will be able to travel with you wherever you choose, and will already have experience prior to placement. You will have your own 24 hour a day personal bodyguard for you and/or your family.

Tracking / Trailing

The Level 3, 4 & 5 Executive Protection K9 is taught a series of tracking exercises for the use of locating missing persons or criminals. If your loved ones get lost in Woods you can use your K9 to locate them. The dog can also be used to locate an intruder in your office, estate & home. Executive Protection K9's have custom training to either bite and hold an intruder, or stand him off while barking and intimidating the intruder to stand still until the police or estate security arrive.

Level 3 Advanced Family/Personal Protection K9's & Executive Protection K9's:

Advanced Obedience: Off Leash - Heel, Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Place (i.e. go to your designated spot in the house), Object Retrieve, Recall Under Distraction, Commands from Multiple Owners (I.E. Family members), Agility (jumping objects on command), "Load" and "Unload" from the vehicle, and more!
Advanced Protection: Area Search, Hold and Secure Suspect, Covert Attack, Defense against Multiple Attackers, Bite on Command, release with Out Command, Property Secure, Active Aggressive Alert (barking aggressively on command towards threatening individual), Defense against multiple attackers (bark aggressively, and bite if commanded, or if the one of the individuals attack), Bite and Release (bite threatening attacker on command, or if physical threat is made towards K9 or K9’s family), Search and Secure (search the home, office, or property for the presence of strangers- if found, K9 will bark aggressively, and then bite if necessary), Defense of Handler (defend against possible threat on or off leash, or from the vehicle or home), Secure Pursuit (pursue and bite fleeing criminal on command), Covert Secure (in the presence of a dangerous or threatening individual will stay on ALERT until commanded, or the situation requires immediate defense action), Gun Point Assault Prevention, Stalker Prevention, Car Jacking Prevention, and more!
An in-home one or two day handler’s course is available for $750.00 per day.

Level 4 Finished Estate Guardian K9's:

Level 4 K9's are trained to Level 3 and additional training to a Level 4 is FULLY CUSTOM. Level 4 K9's are trained for Estate Security, to become a part of the Security System on an actual Estate, they are not trained for travel or Events away from the Estate Grounds. A team of highly skilled KWD Trainers will accompany the K9 to the Estate and spend between 4 and 6 days with the Estate Security crew teaching them how to handle the K9 as well as running live scenarios on the Estate Grounds to insure that the K9 is well adapted to the Estate. It is recommended to have KWD return every 6 months for Continuation Training. Level 5 K9's are available on request only!

Level 4 Estate Security K9 pricing from $25,500.00

Level 5 Finished Executive Protection K9's:

Level 5 K9's are trained to Level 3 and additional training to a Level 5 is FULLY CUSTOM. The difference between Level 4 and Level 5 is that Level 4 K9's are trained for Estate Security, and Level 5 K9's are trained for Executive Security, meaning they are trained to travel with the Executive and become his personal Bodyguard. A team of highly skilled KWD Trainers will accompany the K9 to the Executive and will train the Security Team how to handle the K9 as well as work in live scenarios Level 5 K9's are available on request only!

Your Level 3, 4 & 5 Personal Protection Dog is Specially selected by a Trained Professional at KWD specifically for your needs and your situation. With locations world-wide we have the resources to make the perfect match for your needs. A normal waiting period is between 2 weeks and 3 months depending on your specific requirements.
